Second Unit is committed to protecting your personal details in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993. This privacy statement outlines how we collect data, and what we do with your personal information.

Second Unit collects information when you purchase a ticket to a performance, either via www.secondunit.nz or in person at the Second Unit box office during the performance season. We collect your name, postal address, contact telephone number and email address. We will not sell, trade or rent your details to any other organisations.

Second Unit will send you marketing material by email if you have given express permission to hear from us via opting in at the time of ticket purchase. Every email will include the option to unsubscribe.

Your information will initially be held securely in the Second Unit ticketing system and will only be accessed by Second Unit staff. We do not collect or store any credit card information from Second Unit purchases. This is managed securely via Payment Express hosted payments. Your personal data, along with your Second Unit ticket purchase history, will then be safely transferred into the secure database of our parent company, Tāwhiri Festivals and Experiences.

We do not collect any identifiable information about you on our website unless you choose to give it to us. We analyse non-identifiable web traffic data for statistical purposes, but we do not personally identify users.
